with the coupe , ray remained in castle town when the monsters & gerudos who still backed ganondorf attacked ; defending the civilians as best as he could as dawn helped people evacuate as quickly as possible . even when it is said & done he remains , killing & rekilling the monsters that roam the city streets until a hero comes from the holy temple of time .( evil version : he forced to be a minion of ganondorf , who recognizes the demonic in him . he does his best to skirt around his commands often taking them literally . )

he spends some time in clock town having accidentrly made his way here through the lost woods after following an imp who curiously wanted to play . he randomly tasks for some money & possibly ends up with the guards since there are posters saying people to join the town guards . he patrols around termina field finding it funny how much like hyrule this place is yet so different. . . then the moon shows itself . at first he thinks ganon . but he hasn’t seen him . he’s seen faces of people he once knew but they don’t answer to the names they had once before ... it creeps him out but one day he sees a little deku scrub running around town . he’s cute & ray gives him five rupees so he can go buy some snacks before the festival .he stands in the center of clock town watching the moon get closer & closer . everyone was gone. He hopes they’re safe — he knows he will be fine after this but … they’re only human . he closes his eye to prepare himself yet the pain never comes . opening his eyes he finds the moon pushed back & the bridge to the clock tower isn’t nearly as done as it once was . people are running about & a kid comes out of the tower : a kid he knew . link.

entered the picori festival for fun & was going to throw the match but vaati blasted him away with ease .

because of the peace in hyrule after the failed execution of ganondorf dragmire , ray finds himself angered at the lax nature of the soldiers . his own guard remains up even though dawn thinks he is simply being paranoid . then the interlopers come & the kingdom is bathed in twilight . dawn & ray do not turn into spirits as they already are spirits .but being a demon he remains within the castle undetected ; able to come & go as he pleases as the monsters believe he is one of them . he uses his to his advantage to make sure princess zelda is safe .


PHANTOM HOURGLASS (2007)
after the events of wind waker ; he reconnects with dawn & calms down . they keep his ship , choosing to explore the great ocean in search of a new place to call home . the two are ... strained . she believes in hope for a new world where ray is still licking at his wounds like an injured animal .


SPIRIT TRACKS (2009)
he remains in the royal guard , hating this new hyrule & often calls it a fake copy of hyrule . none seem to understand his viterial . what's worse is the machinal beasts called trains . they are much too loud & far too impractical . the amount of coal needed to power them is insane & he doesn't see them being around much longer . although he continues to protect the crown & it's people he seems ... laxed . like he's not putting in his best effort . he drags his feet much like a stubborn child .SKYWARD SWORD (2011)

before he turned into a demon ; he was a nice yet trouble child . he dreamed of attending the knight academy when he came of age , much to the dismay of his parents who feared it would indulge his desire to hurt others .he appeared as a happy , hyperactive & bubbly child but in truth he was terribly lonely . the other children did not like to play with him , often calling him a monster or throwing rocks at him for how horrible he would hurt them whether on accident or on purpose . frequently he would run into the woods to terrorise animals or carve up trees then deal with it all .CANON II : ayrin . demon . the ancient battle .
after going through the gate of time to get back to his father , he finds himself in the ancient battle between hylia & demise . he had heard the stories of the battle & knew how it would end by played dumb . his father , lamatar , was not caring nor loving like the father in his time but a cruel master who only viewed him as a tool .turning this time period he would endure it in hopes his father would love him again . soon enough he meets the young sahar ; falling in love . the two plan to elope but it was not to be .CANON III : ray .
with the death of sahar & the end of the war ; ayrin becomes ray . he waits the test of time until he sees himself be born . he watches in the shadows waiting for the day he can get his revenge upon lamatar . he is often found by ayrin , who likes to play in the woods .he's pulled into the settlement & is treated nicely . ayrin comes to view him as an uncle & finds him to be a friend ... soon enough the day comes where they become demons & his own actions become his undoing into this never ending loop .
